AABEA Washington DC Annual Science Fair 2016

American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers & Architects (AABEA) Washington DC chapter will have its annual Science Fair on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in FOBANA 2016 at Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel, 900 S. Orme St., Arlington, VA 22204.

In Science Fair, there will be five groups.

Groups A: From K to 2nd grade

Group B: From 3rd grade to 5th grade

Group C: From 6th grade to 8th grade

Group D: From 9th grade to 12th grade

Group E: Above 12th grade

Judging criteria will be as follows:

  1. Creative Ability-------------------------30 points.
  2. Scientific thought/Engineering goals-----30 points.
  3. Thoroughness-----------------------------15 points.
  4. Skill------------------------------------15 points.
  5. Clarity----------------------------------10 points.

Interested young Scientist, please complete attach “Scientist Name and Project description” form and send that to Science Fair Coordinator as your earliest convenient.

AABEA Washington DC Annual Technical Seminar 2016

American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers & Architects (AABEA) Washington DC chapter would like to invite you to participate in the Technical Seminar in the upcoming 2016 FOBANA convention on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The presentation will be limited within 10 charts and presentation time will be no more than 15 minutes. Below please find some of the suggested topics. Please note that the final sessions topics will be based on the number of selected papers. For consistency, please use the attached format. We look forward to your participation.

Full briefing package by : July 30, 2016
